Our History: S V Temple Gurukulam was initiated almost 18 years ago. The academic years from 2007 - 08 onwards stabilized and serving the community to the maximum capacity of ~300 children. In the last few years the program has grown to excellences in seeding spiritual seeds in the loving children and today there are several hundred children who derive both spiritual knowledge and gain the cultural experiences of our heritage in OUR Gurukulam.

Our Curriculum: We teach the kids high ideals and values from our great scriptures in the form of stories, games, quizzes, crafts, bhajans, hymns, slokas, skits, cultural projects etc in English not in any regional languages.

Skits & Presentation: Our kids in each class are given opportunity to participate in a skit or present what they have learned in the class. Each class has their own cultural projects.

S V Temple Gurukulam is coordinated by volunteers on every alternate Sunday of each month from Sept, 2018 to June, 2019 (unless otherwise indicated). Class calendar will be distributed in advance.

The classes are divided according to various age groups from 3 to 14 years. The class names represent the seven hoods of Adisesha which is the abode of Lord Venkateswara and abode of Lord Shiva. Eight classes are called Seshadrii, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrishabhadri, Narayanadri, Venkatadri, and Hemadri.

Gurukulam Classes will be held at:
Cedar Fork Community Center
1050 Town Hall Drive #B
Morrisville, NC 27560
